I've been to sidetracks plenty of times and I'm almost never disappointed. I usually eat their cheeseburger sliders which are amazing! Today I decided to get the French dip sliders with fries and a side of Mac and cheese. The French dip sliders were just okay, they were a little dry and I don't think I'm going to order them again. Oh well, sometimes you win and sometimes you don't.
Now onto the dessert! My cousin and I shared the brownie that was literally the biggest dessert I've ever consumed. It was a brownie with vanilla ice cream, whip cream, and hot fudge. Pretty much the best thing you could ever order at a restaurant.
Overall, sidetracks is a good local restaurant that I like going to a lot. They have a lot of good options and comfortable seating. -

Heard this spot is a local's favorite so I decided to stop by for dinner on a Saturday night. Luckily, the wait time was only about 10 minutes even with other people waiting for a table. Their hostess was very efficient in having everyone sign in and quickly escorted to their tables. Even with a lot of customers, space was a very cozy feeling and not too loud. I liked how it was the perfect lighting (to see the surroundings and the menu lol) and still enjoy a fine meal.
We started with the Beer-battered Pickle Spears, along with LA Whitefish Sandwich and the classic Reuben, both with sweet potato fries. The pickle spears with the ranch sauce were divine. Perfect crunch with the tang. Whitefish sandwich was great, could use a bit more sauce but overall, consistency was there. The Reuben was just as expected, good ratio of kraut, meat, and sauce. Their various beers on tap def complemented this meal- Hacker Pshorr's Octoberfest and Delirium Tremens/Pink Elephant (personal fav). Def will be back soon! -

Been going here for years.
Food has always been awesome
Service is equally awesome
Never had a bad experience here (except)
If your server seats you on the Frenchie side in the room towards the back beware that behind those unmarked doors are the restrooms.
3 tables tables are right up to the door.
( I found out the hard way )
Nothing sucks the oxygen out of your dinner more than having you or your guest move your chair up so some fat lady can squeeze past you to go blow it out. .
Come on Linda own it. Proudly put the restroom signs up, share the magic with all your customers. -

The same delicious food as always. I usually have a cheeseburger with all the fixings. But today, I decided on SideTrack special: which was an catfish dinner. You can have your catfish prepared grilled, blacken or fried. Also you can have wed beans and rice or your choice of potatoes: home style fries, sweet potato fries and the coleslaw. My husband decided on the grilled catfish with red beans and rice and i had the fried catfish with homestyle fries and coleslaw. The food was good. i love corn meal fried catfish.
But, I really was not happy with the service. It took several minutes to be waited on and several minutes for our food to arrive. They had several wait staff waiting around but not coming our way. When the wait person finally arrive she was a very nice and pleasant young lady. I will be back. -

This is a great burger place hidden in Ypsi. I thought the decor inside was charming and cozy. I would definitely recommend Sidetrack for those who want a good burger with a beer or a weekend lunch with friends. The serving staff were also so friendly and welcoming, making my first visit here a wonderful time.
